(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Devin Tate Proctor, 27, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at his home. Devin was born on April 6, 1996, in Joplin, to Jason Proctor Sr. and Jaime Cory Dunaway. He was a lifetime resident of Carthage and a graduate of Carthage High School.
He had a great sense of humor and had the ability to light up any room with his presence. He loved listening to music, working on cars, woodwork crafts, and spending time with his family and his dog, Draco. Most of all, he loved his kids.
Devin was united in marriage to Shaina Sailer in July of 2021 in Neosho, Missouri; she survives.
He is survived by his wife, Shaina; two sons, Hendrix Proctor and Graysen Shivar; three daughters, Hadley Proctor, Estella Proctor, and Arabella Proctor, all of the home.
Devin also leaves behind his mom, Jaime Cory Dunaway; dad, Jason Proctor Sr.; his stepdad, Jeremey Dunaway; stepmom, Sandra Proctor; five brothers, Ryan Bradshaw, Jason Proctor II, Dakota Cory, Dallen Proctor, and Jerico Dunaway; two sisters, LaTaya Dunaway and Shelby Dunaway; and grandmothers, Linda Proctor of Neosho, and April Cory of Carthage.
A funeral service will be held for Devin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. The visitation will be the evening before from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Park Cemetery, immediately after the service.
