(From Ferry Funeral Home) Michael David Satterfield, 64, Bronaugh, MO, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Mike was born July 6, 1959 in Pittsburg, KS, to Aaron Richard and Betty LaVon (Earl) Satterfield.
Mike was raised in Bronaugh and graduated from Bronaugh High School Class of 1977. He worked at Hallmark in Kansas City for a time, then later went to work for a Tire Service in Kansas City and in Springfield.
Eventually, Mike became self-employed as the owner and operator of his own tire service company in Fayetteville, AR. In 2009 he came back to the Bronaugh area where he ran a tire service truck until his retirement. Following his retirement, Mike continued to help care for his father for five years until his father’s passing.
Survivors include four siblings, Pam McKee (Randy), Mesa, AZ, Connie Smith, Lamar, MO, Debbie Heitz (John), Bronaugh, and Gary Satterfield (Cindy), Bronaugh; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Tim Satterfield.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Memorials are suggested in his name to Shilo Cemetery.
