Charlene Albright

W. Charlene Albright, 84, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away January 22, 2024, at her home surrounded with loads of love. She was born June 2, 1939, in Iowa City, IA.

The most beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister left this world to join her husband, Vern, in Heaven after a battle with cancer. Even in her most challenging days, she was a light of hope, an encourager, and a friend to all. She left a mark on so many hearts through her love and service at Helping Hands, church, and the community of Noel, MO.








Charlene was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lloyd and Helen Gresham, and her adoring husband of 58 years, Vern.

She is survived by her three children, Larry Albright (Deb Varner), Kensett, IA; Laura Rader, Bella Vista, AR; and Thomas (Susan) Albright, Bentonville, AR; brother, Cecil (Katie) Gresham, Red Oak, IA; sisters, twin sister Marlene (Bob - deceased) Bonney, Florence, AZ; Mary (Russ - deceased) Hoegh, Atlantic, IA; and Debbie Slater, Shenandoah, IA.

Known as the world’s best Grandma, she leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jamie (Greg) Malek, Mason City, IA; Jillian (Scott) Woodward, Mason City, IA; Matthew Albright, Kensett, IA; Robert (Bobby) Gomez, Mason City, IA; Adam (Carmela) Albright, Gravette, AR; Ashley (Bryan) Zebley, Rogers, AR; and Jean Roodely Senatus, Bella Vista, AR; eight great-grandchildren: Ethan, Kellar, Sophie, Charlie, Addison, Madilyn, Olivia, and Evelynn; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dearest friend and partner in crime, Virginia Wilson.
