Sigrid Smith

Sigrit Alma Smith, of Crane, MO, formerly of Dadeville, MO, departed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 86.

She was born on October 16, 1937 in Bad Homburg, Germany to Alfred and Marie Seel. Sigrit was united in marriage to Amos Smith on November 25, 1957. She was a wonderful homemaker. Sigrit loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Alfred and Marie Seel; her husband, Amos Smith; and two brothers, Manfred Seel and Horst Seel.

Survivors include two sons, Tony Smith and wife Mina and Melvin Smith and wife JoAn and; four daughters, Melba Davis, Ellen Atwell, Wanda Lentz and husband Stan, and Sylvia Winstead and husband Don; one brother, Gunter Seel; two sisters, Ilona Walter and Ursula Rach; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Dadeville Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
