Patricia Wilson

Patricia Ann Wilson, age 86, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Westgate Communities of Wildwood.

Patricia was born January 22, 1937 in Lafayette, IN, daughter of the late James Golden Etter and Ruth (Burn) Etter. She grew up in Louisiana and then began her career as a secretary working for the United States Defense Department where she worked for years and the job has moved her to several locations. She lived in Jacksonville, FL most of the time before moving to Joplin recently. She was a fun-loving woman who loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son Paul Wilson and wife Deborah of Joplin; grandchildren, Whitney Wilson, Cassie Bailey, Brendon Bailey all of Joplin, and Brian Bailey of Wichita, KS; nine great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with private family services to take place at a later date.
