Cheryl Kline

Cheryl Ann (Morgan) Kline, age 62, residing in Joplin, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at her home.

Cheryl was born September 4th, 1961, in Mankato, MN, daughter of the late Robert Wesley Morgan and Martha Margaret (Sellner) Morgan. She grew up in Minnesota and attended Mankato West High School. She moved to Cedar Rapids, IA where she worked for years as a waitress and bartender at several locations and later worked as a convenience store clerk. She moved to Joplin, MO in 2015. 

She loved taking care of her canines Ruby and Sully. She also enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and spending time at the casino.

She was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her two brothers Robert W. Morgan II and Wayne Morgan.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Kline; children Melissa Cannon, Mitchell (Amy) Maine and Michelle Maine all in Cedar Rapids, IA, and Morgan Thomas of Sioux Falls, SD; nine grandchildren Mercedes, Emily, Cleo, Dominic, Carsyn, Loralei, Wesley, Aurora and Dakota; two sisters Cindy (Dean) Wrightson and LaVonne Baker; and father-in-law Robert Friest.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
