Bobby Madewell

Bobby Paul Madewell, 84, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Foley, Alabama.

Bobby was born February 26, 1939, in Madera, California to the late, Lee Marvin and Ethel Dora (Smith) Madewell. He joined the armed forces an attained the rank of Sergeant, First Class. He was in the Marines for 6 years and the Army for 22 years. He served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Nadine Madewell, and they spent 49 years together until her death.








Bobby is described as a devoted husband, father, grandfather. His grandchildren share fond memories of walking the garden with him, sharing in his love of music, specifically the guitar which he often played for them. Bobby enjoyed dancing and karaoke in his later life and loved sharing that with his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nadine and his sons Eugene and Charles “Tony” Pair and daughter Velma “Sue” Pair.








He is survived by his spouse, Lola Madewell, of Grove, Oklahoma; daughter Dora Medoza of Noel, Missouri; grandchildren, Ronald Pair and Marilyn Hill of Afton, Oklahoma, Jason Nicholas of Pineville, Missouri, Toni Marie Nicoline of Goodman, Missouri, Tabitha Armstrong and Matthew Nicholas of Anderson, Missouri, and Bryan Mendoza of Noel, Missouri; brother Marvin Madewell; as well as a slew of great grandchildren, step- children, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive loved ones for a celebration of life on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 2 :00 p.m. at the Rendezvous Room Event Center located in Noel, Missouri.
