(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Mae Josephine (Spiva) Roth, age 92, passed away at Glenwood Healthcare of Seymour, MO at 8:11 PM on January 11, 2024.
Mae was born in Galena, KS on July 19, 1931 to the union of Virgil Floyd Spiva and Ruby Obenetta (Hix) Spiva. She had lived in Colorado Springs, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, Santa Rosa, CA, Clear Lake, CA, and Carthage, MO.
She worked for many years as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, and was also a skilled seamstress. She was a "professional student" who loved learning, and earned a Bachelor's Degree during her studies. Her passions included sewing, traveling, and drinking coffee.
She is survived by her son, Don Roth (wife, Heather) of Springfield, MO; [[[ enter other surviving family here.
