(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Alyce Adelle Moore, age 64, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, her Savior on Monday, October 21.
Alyce was born on January 7, 1960, to Ardelle James (A. J.) and Maryalyce (Schasteen) Lamfers in Carthage,
Missouri where she grew up with her two siblings, sister, Loraine and brother, William (Bill).
She worked for many years at the Ozark Center in Joplin as an LPN. She attended Southside Community Church of God and leaned on her faith in Christ to get her through the difficulties of life. Her motto was “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.” Alyce lived her motto and although she suffered much in this life, she is now dancing on streets of gold in her heavenly home. God graced her with an exceptional sense of humor, and she looked for the joy in every circumstance. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Ardelle and Maryalyce, her brothers, James Ardelle Lamfers and William Ralph Lamfers.
