Baby Jane Simpson

(From Lawson's Funeral Home)

Rachel Tymprance-Jane Simpson better known as Baby Jane was born to Melissa Ann Foreman on October 26, 2023 and went to her Heavenly Home with God on October 19, 2024 at 09:11 am in Tulsa, OK with her family by her side.

Even though Baby Jane was born early and spent 74 days in the NICU, she was a fighter! She was sassy and was never afraid to open up those lungs and yell hey, hi, mama, nana, or papa.

When she was really mad, she liked to yell for her Nan Nan Nan. Mama was her favorite person. Mama always had to be in sight. Baby Jane loved to go to breakfast with Papa and have biscuits and gravy. There was not a mashed potato with gravy she would ever turn down! Baby Jane had an infectious smile and the brightest blue eyes ever! She would use them to her advantage to get what she wanted!

Baby Jane had a love for being outside bouncing in her jumper. She loved jumping and laughing. Baby Jane loved all music, but her favorite was the Worship Team at New Life Church. She jumped and yelled like she was trying to sing along. Her feet would be kicking and hands trying to clap! Baby Jane was dedicated to her Lord and Savior at New Life Church on September 9, 2024 just 2 weeks after her Mom was baptized. Pastor Dustin Keeler was the prayer partner holding Baby Jane during the dedication and a beautiful friendship bloomed. When she would see him, she would get so excited and he had to hold her.

Baby Jane is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Johnnie and Annie Black, Watie Foreman, Sr. and Betty Chapel; Her Baby B and William Vincent; her Uncle Jody Morrison; Cousins Shannon Wiggins, Casey Brinegar, and Jeremiah Black.

She is survived by her Mommy Melissa Ann Foreman of the home; Papa Watie Foreman, Jr. of Jay, OK, Nana Nancy Black of Colcord, OK; Uncle Scott Barnett, and father figure Patrick Sawyer as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends.

A special thank you to those who were at the hospital with Melissa and Baby Jane at night when Melissa’s parents couldn't be there except during the day. Mandy, much love for taking care of Melissa!
