(From Parker Mortuary)Stephen Neal Phipps, age 54, of Joplin, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Steve was born on June 26, 1970, in Merriam, Kansas to Richard and Gaylen (Ryan) Phipps. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School and resided in the Shawnee Mission area from 1989 until moving to the Joplin area in 1995. Steve loved spending time with his family. He was a loving son, cousin, and nephew. He will be greatly missed by many.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Gaylen.
Steve is survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with Shelia and Pastor James Cockman Jr. officiating. Inurnment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Galena, Kansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
