(From Clark Funeral Home)Amy Dawn Adams was born on June 25, 1969, at St. John's in Joplin, one of two girls to Donald and Nancy (Chancellor) Adams. She entered into rest on October 26, 2024, at the age of 55 at Joplin Mercy Hospital.
Amy graduated from Neosho High School class of 1987. She graduated from Crowder College and Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri with a BS in Consumer and Family Studies. She was the manager of Bath & Body Works/White Barn Candle Co. in Springfield, Missouri when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1998.
She is survived by her sister, Kelly Dawn Adams of Fayetteville, Arkansas, her aunt, Mary Anderson of Tyler, Texas and Phyllis Chancellor of Neosho, first cousins, John Bruce Lankford and Joe Lankford of Seneca, Cindy Steele of Walnut Creek, California, Brad Brumit of Alba, Missouri, Tracy Berg of Tyler, Texas, Scott Anderson of Bernice, Oklahoma, Joan Murphey of Neosho, Rebecca Williams of Yucca Valley, California, and Benjamin Holley, of San Diego, California.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald L. Adams and cousin Eric Williams. A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, November 9, 2024, at the Belfast Cemetery, Neosho, Missouri.
