(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jack Harrison Taft Jr, 79, of Webb City, MO, passed away peacefully in his home on October 7, 2024.
Jack was born May 16, 1945 to Franklin and Iva Greek in Webb City and raised in Atlas, MO alongside five sisters.
On March 1, 1975, he married his loving wife, Connie York. Jack was a devoted father to his three wonderful children.
Jack was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially a good round of golf.
Preceding him in death are his parents: Franklin and Iva, and his sisters: Karren Southard, Frankie Winters, Jerrye Thomas, Harriett Witt, and Ivaleen Bullis.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Taft, sons Jack (Alice) Taft III and Wade (Katie) Taft, daughter Miranda Taft, grandchildren Courtney (Brandon) Berry, Jack Taft IV, Bruce (Savanna) Taft, Wyatt Taft, and Wren Taft, and two great grandchildren Brock Berry and Brooklyn Berry.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, October 12 at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Family will receive friends and visitors at 9:00 prior to the funeral.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Scottish Rite for Children 2222 Welborn St. Dallas, TX 75219
