(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)John Wayne Dalton, age 68 of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at his home following an unexpected illness. John was born to Mary and Lawrence Dalton on December 11, 1955 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
John had a passion for racing and an avid drag racer. He loved his dogs, Allie and Abby. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
John is survived by his daughter Johna Medina (Enrique); grandchildren, Aiden Kelley (Kailee), Alexis Medina and Bryce Medina; brothers, Bill Dalton (Nita), Dave Dalton, Lester Dalton; sisters, Betty Bastings (Gene) and Linda Dalton (Steve).
John was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Heidi Dalton and a brother, Bob Dalton.
John will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations to the mortuary to assist with funeral expenses.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Graveside services are planned for Thursday, October 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Carterville Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hedge-Lewis Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
