Jessie M. Sparlin, 78, Seneca, MO passed away February 27, 2018 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.
Jessie Marie Cooper was born August 22, 1939 in Seneca, MO the daughter James P. and Lucia Marie (Swisher) Cooper and raised by her step-father James A. Snow.. Jessie loved to read, play bingo, watching Elvis movies, putting puzzles together and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Jessie Marie Cooper married Virgil Elmer Sparlin June 27, 1957 in Seneca, MO and he survives. Jessie and Elmer owned and operated MaMa’s Place in Seneca, MO for years until retiring.
Survivors include two sons; Larry Sparlin and Jerry Sparlin both of Neosho; one daughter, Kathy King, Maysville, AR; two sisters, Virginia Hall, Seneca and Mary Bryant, Neosho and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family.

Jessie was preceded in death by her mother and father James Perry and Lucia Marie, her step father James A. Snow; one brother, Ronnie Cooper and one sister, Bonnie Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, March 1, 2018 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, March 2, 2018 at the New Salem Cemetery with Harold Reaves officiating.
