Frank Blagg

Franklin “Frank” Cole Blagg, 74 passed away Sunday May 4, 2014. Frank was born July 8, 1939 at home in Harvielle, Missouri to Walter and Doris Blagg. Frank graduated from Neelyville High School in 1957. He served in the United States Navy. He worked as plant manager for shoe factories for 40 years, the last 15 at Juvenile Shoes in Carthage then Tender Tootsie of Aurora, retiring in 2004. After retiring he continued to work on what he loved to do, carpentry. Frank was a loving husband and father. He loved his family; he loved the lord and was a member of the First Christian Church of Carthage, MO.

He was married for 51 years to his wife Betty Jane Blagg she survives.

Frank is survived by his mother Doris Blagg of Corning, AR. one son Kirt Blagg and wife Alicia, one daughter Patricia Anderson and husband Doug. Grandchildren Chrystal Dalton, Baylee Riddle, Konner Blagg, Addi Blagg, Colton Anderson, Rylee Anderson, Jeremy Anderson and Aaron Anderson. Three great grandchildren Claire Green, Si Riddle, and Mathew Anderson. One brother Leon Blagg of Little Springs AR and one sister Darlene Dawsey of Corning AR.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Walter C. Blagg, one son Franklin Cole Blagg Jr. ,three brothers Herb Blagg, Clay Blagg and Danny Blagg and one sister Mona Smith.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday May 6, 2014 at the Ulmer Funeral Home.
