Dennis Bradley Gallagher, age 71, Joplin, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home after an illness.
Dennis was born May 26, 1942 in Ophir, Utah to the late Reulon Reno Gallagher and Arline West Gallagher and had lived in Joplin since 1988.
He worked as a cutting room manager in the apparel industry and was associated with Pykettes Manufacturing for 25 years and King Louie International for 16 years. Dennis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He married Glenna Poole on March 24, 1984 in Menan, Idaho. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his children, Kira Gunter and her husband, Dave, West Valley, Utah, Shauna Brems, West Valley, Utah, Jason Gallagher, Murray, Utah, Melissa Harris and her husband, Michael, Clovis, New Mexico, Shane Gallagher and his wife, Alisha, Nanjing, China; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services are planned for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Dan Belnap will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Graveside services will be held at Annis Little Butte Cemetery, Rigby, Idaho. Pallbearers will be Shane Gallagher, Austin White, Jordan Crane, Randy Brems, Jason Gallagher, Kyle Crane and Chandler Burke.
Memorial contributions may be made to the General Missionary Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
