Maureen P. “Trixie” McNeff-Vogt, 72, passed away May 27, 2014 in Freeman Hospital; Joplin, MO. Trixie was born February 13, 1942 in Middlesex, England to William George Bishop and Kathleen Constance “Goodwin” Bishop. Trixie was a resident of Carthage for the past 15 years moving from the Monett area. She was a retired manager of Casey’s General Store in Monett.
Trixie is survived by Bill Vogt of Carthage, MO., two daughters Karen Peters of Wichita, KS. and Denita Douglas of Neosho, MO. and four sons Kevin Stocker of Aurora, MO, Chris Stocker Bradenton, FL , Mike Vogt of Joplin, MO and Mark Vogt of Carthage, MO, Eight grandchildren Annesha Umbarger, Dustin Packwood, Dalton Peters, Chelsah Douglas, Kevin Douglas, Jason Fisher, Ben Vogt and Adam Vogt, and 10 great grandchildren.
Trixie is preceded by one brother Robert Bishop of Cambridge England.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday May 30, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday May 29, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
