Franklin William ‘Willie’ Hill, age 17, Joplin, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Willie was a student at Carl Junction High School and was also studying health related classes at Franklin Technical School.
He was a member of the National Honor Society and was active in Debate and Drama. Willie enjoyed taking apart and rebuilding computers and was quite the jokester. He was a self taught yo-yo performer and had no trouble entertaining anyone that was interested.
Willie is survived by his mother, Shandy Hill, Joplin; his father, Franklin Hill, Joplin; grandparents, Frank and Renee Hill, Joplin; uncle and aunt, Jasper and Ashley Hill, Carl Junction; and his cousins, Dylan Hill, Natosha Hill and Jaxson Hill, all of Carl Junction.
Memorial services are planned for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
