(From Ozark Funeral Home)Billie Travis was born on August 17, 1935 to James Tomlin and Ruby (Townsend)Tomlin in Gaylesville, Alabama.
He is survived by his wife Alberta and was blessed with 67 years of marriage.
He is also survived by his two sons; Kenny (Wife Jo) and Duane (wife Connie). He has four grandchildren; Kenny Jr., Bradley, Valerie and RT. He has seven great grandchildren Hannah, Emma, Lauren, Ava, Tessa, Kohen and Korah. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Shirley Tomlin and brother-in-law Henry Oliver, several loving niece, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Dwight and Stanley Tomlin and his sister Genell Oliver.
He worked in the Drywall field all his life and also operated and owned with is son Kenny, McDonald Co. Farmers Lumber and Supply until his retirement in 2000.
He loved living the last 48 years in his home on Big Sugar Creek.
