(From Ozark Funeral Home)Lucy Carolyn Miller, 83 of Anderson, Missouri passed away on November 23, 2020. She was born in the bootheel of Missouri on November 5, 1937.
She had a full life with her husband Bobby Ray and family. They lived several places they considered home, but a part of her always remained on the Keene family farm in Clarkton, Missouri. Carolyn was a teacher, caregiver, mother, and homemaker. She loved to travel, write, sew, and garden. She was known in Anderson as the walnut picking queen and made the front page of the newspaper. Carolyn took pride in working hard and doing the job right.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Bob Miller, parents: Raden and Velma Keene, and brothers: Donald Keene and Raden Keene, Jr.
She leaves behind a brother: Jan Michael Keene; daughter: Laura James of Anderson, son: Phillip Miller of Overland Park, Kansas; 9 grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends. Due to COVID, a celebration of her life will be scheduled this summer in Anderson when we can all be together.
