(From Parker Mortuary)Lesley Lee Graham, age 70, Joplin, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at her home after a sudden illness.
Lesley was born May 20, 1950 in Evanston, Illinois, daughter of the late Lee Patrick Graham and Wilrose Long Graham. She grew up in Glen Cove on Long Island, New York, where she graduated from Friends Academy and was an outstanding tennis player.
She attended Skidmore University and received her Bachelor's Degree before earning her Master's Degree from Adelphi University in Physical Education. She traveled for some time on a semi-pro Tennis Circuit before landing a job with JPM International, later MCI, as a recruiter. She moved to the Joplin area 15 years ago to be closer to her family.
In addition to her parents, Lesley was preceded in death by her brother, Todd Graham.
Survivors include her nephews, Gardner Graham of Wiesbaden, Germany, and Clayton Graham of San Diego, California; sister-in-law, Courtney Graham of Richmond,Virginia.
No formal services are planned at this time. A memorial celebration will occur in the future.
