(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Charles F. Hawes Jr. 57, Jasper, MO, passed into eternal rest November 14, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after a sudden illness.
Charles Franklin Hawes Jr. was born March 17, 1963 in Baltimore, MD the son of Charles Franklin Hawes Sr and Barbara Jean Oliveto Hawes. Charles was a graduate of Cherokee High School.
He loved Southern Gospel Music, playing on his phone, music concerts, reading news and keeping up on political issues and working in retail sales. Charles worked for Lowe's as a retail sales associate. He formerly worked at Home Depot and Kmart as a retail sales associate.
Charles was a member of the Lamar United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his mother Barbara Jean Hawes; his children, Nathaniel Hawes and Alison Hawes, their mother Teresa; siblings, James Hawes and Kevin Hawes and a host of extended family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles Hawes SR. and a great-aunt Maysie Krickler Bryant.
The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Memorial Service 1:00pm, November 17, 2020 at New Day Pentecostal Church 607 N. Main St. Miami, OK.
