(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Gale Marie Barnes, age 88 passed away at 7:10 pm, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her home following an illness
Gale was born July 11, 1932 in Carthage, MO. Her parents were Arthur and Reva Gale (Randall) Cupp.
She retired from Lozier’s, Joplin, MO after working there 24 years. She had previously been a waitress.
Her husband, Howard L Barnes preceded her in death Jan 23, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Julia Cupp.
Surviving are two sons, John Barnes and James Barnes, both of Galena; one daughter, Linda Wilkerson (husband, Doug) Carl Junction, MO; and grandchildren.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. The family will bury her ashes at a later date.
