(From Clark Funeral Home)Dorothy ‘Dean’ Jean McKnight, 94, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Westgate at Wildwood Ranch. Dorothy was born July 9, 1926 in Turkey, TX to Lewis and Ola (Fry) Johnson.
Dorothy loved being with her family. She also loved sewing, crocheting and had a huge garden. Dorothy was a member of the Boulder City Quilting Club. She was also a member of the Sheep Shed Church.
Dorothy was married to James Hubert McKnight on September 22, 1945, in Plainview, TX. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2003.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; two sisters; daughter, Nelda Jean Thorpe; 2 sons, Jerry Don McKnight and Earl Wayne McKnight; 2 grandsons, Aaron McKnight and Daniel McKnight and a granddaughter, Brandy Casey.
She is survived by three children, Melba Knight, Arnold McKnight and wife Carolyn, and Anna Belle Casey, all of Neosho; 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 14 great granddaughters, 8 great grandsons, 7 great-great granddaughters and 3 great-great grandsons.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 23 at 10:00 am at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. Interment will be at Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City, Missouri. Derek Snyder will be officiating. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday, Nov. 22 at Clark Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00 pm.
