(From Parker Mortuary)Alexander Paul Fiedler Mueller, age 22, Joplin, passed away at his home on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Alex was born September 2, 1998 in Joplin, and attended Joplin Schools, graduating from Joplin High School in 2017. He participated with the Joplin High School ROTC. He enjoyed gaming, and building models, but his favorite activity was taking care of his best friend and little brother, Max. He enjoyed their time playing ball at the Miracle League Baseball Facility.
Alex joins his Papa, Dr. Barry Fiedler, who made sure everyone knew they were to be spoken to as Dr. and Mr. Fiedler, who preceded him in death on July 12, 2011.
Survivors include his parents, Elizabeth Fiedler, and William Mueller both of Joplin; his brother, Maxwell Edward Fiedler Mueller; grandparents, Carol Fiedler of Joplin, and Paul Mueller and wife Helen of Memphis, Tennessee; aunt, Morgan Reed and husband Nick of Republic; uncles, Zach Hilty of Goodland, Kansas, Greg Green of Mississippi, and Kris Green of Rochester, New York; cousin, Ella Reed Gjeruldsen of Republic; his best friend, Lucas Booth of Miami, Oklahoma; and his service dog, Fish.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all who helped and showed support during Alex's life, the Joplin Police Department, College Skyline, Ozark Center, Leffen Center, Connections Case Management, Easter Seals, Starting Point, Mercy and Freeman Hospitals, Miracle League Baseball, and the Children's Miracle Network.
A Celebration of Alex's Life will be held at a later date with family and friends sharing stories of their time with Alex.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
