Carol Dodson

Carol Jean Dodson was born December 11, 1940 in Maryville, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond and Mattie Eva (Honer) Hainline. She entered into rest on November 19, 2020 in Joplin, following an extended illness at the age of 80. 

 Jean moved to the Neosho area from Maryville in 1956 and was a graduate of Neosho High School. 

 She was a licensed cosmetologist and enjoyed her flowers, cooking and especially making jelly. She attended the Neosho and Diamond United Methodist Church. 

Jean is survived by two stepsons, Joe (Sherrill) Dodson and Jim Dodson; four grandchildren, Jill (George) Evey, Jason Dodson, Justin (Karen) Dodson and John (Dana) Dodson; three great grandchildren; one sister, Hattie (Jim) McIlvaine; one nephew; three nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
