(From Clark Funeral Home)James Michael (Mike) English, 61, Granby, MO, entered into rest November 28, 2020 after a short illness. Mike was born August 29, 1959 in Neosho, MO to Norma Dean (Wilks) and James Dale English. He was a lifelong resident of the Granby, MO area.
Mike served ten years in the US Navy, and was currently employed as a supervisor at Monett Metals. He was a member of the VFW Post 4207 in Monett, MO, was an avid Harley-Davidson rider, a boat enthusiast, and loved being outdoors.
Mike is survived by his wife, Micki; his mother, Norma Dean (Kitty) English of Granby; his children, Bradley English and wife, Richelle of Aurora, MO and Mikaela English of Pierce City, MO; one brother, Jeff English and wife, Jennette of Monett, MO; one sister, Alicia Oxendine of Diamond, MO; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Dale English; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Juanita English; and maternal grandparents, Carl and Nadine Wilks.
Services with full military honors will be held 1:00 pm Friday, December 4, 2020 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at VFW Post 4207, Monett, MO.
