(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Mary Rosalie McFerrin, 98, of Lamar passed away April 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rosalie was born September 5, 1924 at her family home in South Greenfield, MO.
She married Maurice (Mac) McFerrin on June 30, 1942. She was a mother to three girls, a homemaker and worked part-time at Rader’s Department store until the girls were older. She then worked for O’Sullivan’s for 20 years until her retirement.
Rosalie is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Johnson of Kingman, KS, Sharon Luebbert (Sam) of Jefferson City, MO and Vickie Pabst (Earl) of Jefferson City, MO seven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice (Mac)McFerrin of 54 years, parents Ader (Barker) and John Davidson, five brothers, Orville T Davidson, Ralph Davidson, Jess Davidson, Newell Davidson, John Davidson and one sister Goldena Helvey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CD Ministry, United Methodist Church 900 Poplar St., Lamar, MO 64759
The family would like to give a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for the compassion and understanding of the nursing team in dealing with Rosalie’s last days.
The family will receive visitors from 10 AM to 11 AM and a service will follow at 11 AM at Lamar United Methodist Church on Saturday April 15, 2023.
