(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Dorothy Ann Wiseman, age 88, Carterville, Missouri passed away at her home Sunday, December 31, 2023.
She was born March 22, 1935, in Medford, Wisconsin to Alexander and Virginia (Dodge) Woodward.
Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed her family very much. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She married Jim Wiseman on August 13, 1951, in Dugar, Indiana and he survives. Dorothy is also survived by one daughter, Virgina Wiseman: five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
The family will have a memorial service at the Carterville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 4 PM. A reception will follow at Carthage Memorial Hall.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
