On the morning of January 6, 2024, the world lost a bit of its spark. Shannon Reeves, our beloved social media enthusiast and taco connoisseur, carried on to her next grand adventure. 

Born in Joplin, MO on August 4, 1981, Shannon brought joy, laughter, and a whole lot of Supermarket Sweep trivia to those lucky enough to know her. Her love for scrolling TikTok was only surpassed by the love she had for her family, and her infectious sense of humor made every moment spent with her a memory to be cherished.






Shannon found happiness in the simple things, like enjoying a good TV show or savoring her favorite Mexican cuisine. She could light up a room with her laughter and was always ready with a quick joke or a hilarious Tik Tok video to share. 

When not delighting in her usual pastimes, Shannon could be found doting on her cherished grandchild, Paisley. Despite her passion for the digital age, Shannon was a traditionalist at heart, keeping her family close and her values closer. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Sue Gordon and spouse, and her devoted daughter, Ashlyn Bresee, and sister Kellie (Noah) Fox. She was preceded in death by her son Miles, father, Larry Reeves, her sister Jennifer. Shannon will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who never failed to bring a smile to our faces.

A life celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
