(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Alexhander Samuel Barrios- 48 of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born on June 24, 1976, to Jose Antonio Samuel Monterroso and Socorro de Jesus Barrios in Santa Rosa de Lima, Guatemala. Alex moved to Carthage from Los Angeles, California in 1997.
During his time here, he’s worked at Butterball, H. E. Williams, and was a truck driver. He’s attended El Jordan Church, Grace Pointe Assembly of God, and Cristo Iglesia Juvileo. Alex received a degree in theology through the Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed supporting and watching the kids during any of their sporting events. He was always friendly and offered up a smile to anyone he encountered.
Survivors include his mom, Socorro; and five brothers, Abisai Samuel, Douglas Samuel, Elizer Samuel, Emerson Samuel, and Erickson Samuel.
