(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Michael “Mike” Freeman Koger of Afton, OK passed from this life Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was 67.
Mike was born April 9, 1957 in Miami, OK to Norman and Kathryn (Coach) Koger. He had lived in the Picher and Afton area all his life. He was a truck driver working for Simmons Foods in Southwest City, MO.
Mike is survived by his wife Staci (Henry) Koger of the home, 3 sons, Keith Forbis and wife Cara of Seminole, OK, Caden Koger of Miami, OK and Cody Koger and wife Paula of Fairland, OK, 1 daughter, Kassie Schwarting and husband Ben of Joplin, MO, 3 sisters, Suzy Bryant of Miami, OK, Cindy Body of Commerce, Ok and Connie Fox of Miami, OK, 4 grandchildren, Bryce Schwarting and wife Emily, Kutler Schwarting, Rayce Forbis and Able Forbis and 2 great grandchildren, Stevie Schwarting and Kayce Forbis.
Celebration of Life Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends after service until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
