(From Sisco Funeral Home)Thomas Allen Boles, 74, of Powell, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Seneca House in Seneca, Missouri.
He entered this life on December 29, 1949 in Salina, Kansas, born to the late, Thomas Edison and Madeline (Breen) Boles. His dad was stationed in the United States Air Force in California and that is where he spent his younger years in Merced and Bakersfield, California. He moved to the family farm in McDonald County and was a 1969 graduate at McDonald County High School.
He married Sharon Kay Mitchell on January 4, 1974 in Neosho, Missouri and to this union two sons were born. Thomas served our country in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Forrester for the Missouri Department of Conservation. Thomas was a lifelong farmer and loved taking care of his cattle. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, favoring the San Fransisco Giants and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Larry Gililand.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Boles of the home; his sons, Thomas Boles and Jacob Boles (Jill) all of Powell, Missouri; grandsons, Sampson Boles (Ashley) and Joshua Boles; a cousin, Lynette of Oregon; as well as a host of friends and family who will dearly miss Thomas.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the Fox Cemetery in Powell, Missouri with Pastor Jamey Cope officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are his sons and grandsons, Thomas Boles, Jacob Boles, Sampson Boles and Joshua Boles.
