Milton Williamson

Milton R. Williamson, 79, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Milton was born on September 27, 1944, in Big Spring, Texas, to Gordon and Myrtle Williamson. He was the landscape foreman at Geo Prison Systems of Texas for 23.5 years. 

Milton was a very Patriotic American; he led several groups of Vets to tour Washington DC. He loved meeting other veterans and building friendships. He always had a smile and something funny to say to brighten anyone’s day. He was very loved and will be very missed. During retirement he enjoyed working on small engines.







Milton was joined in marriage to Rosina Williams on July 30, 1983, in Odessa, Texas; she survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Jeffery Layne McDonald (Dileini) of Diamond, Jim McDonald (Michelle) of Sarcoxie; two daughters, Michelle (Williamson) Gonzalez of Ft. Stockton, Texas, and Tammy Bridges (Larry) of Vinita, Oklahoma; one brother, Melvin Williamson, of Achley, Texas; two sisters, Wanda Moss of Houston, Texas, and Ruth Dunlap of Houston, Texas; one brother in law, James “Shorty” Williams, of Reeds Springs, Missouri; one sister in law, Katheryn Williams of Kimberling City, Missouri; one dear friend Gene Wilson of San Angelo, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Cassandra and Cheyenne Flores, Jeremy Lynn, Billy Ray McDonald (Lisa), Taylor McDonald, Helyana, Trenton, Hayden, Weston, Arianna and William McDonald, Taylor Biscarro (Jeremy), Maddison Pita, Charleigh Bridges; 10 great grandchildren, Tinzlee Duffer, Faith Boggs, Scarlet Boggs, Breenan, Morgan, Zayne, Raven, and Rowen McDonald, Jeremiah and Judah Biscarro; and his three furry companions, Peaches, Bear, and Princess.

There will be a funeral service for Milton at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
