Josh Westfall

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Joshua Allen Westfall, 46, of Neosho, MO, left this life far too soon on August 18, 2024. His departure comes as a great shock and deep wound, and it is felt by his family and countless others who knew and loved him.

Josh was born on February 11, 1978, in Joplin, MO to Michael and Sue Westfall. Josh was a 1996 graduate of Neosho High School and furthered his education as an auto technician at Crowder College where he graduated in 1998 as a certified master diesel technician.

On August 22, 1998 he married Kacee Rae Cooper, who survives. Kacee and Josh celebrated 12 years of marriage before welcoming their miracle from heaven, son, Dylan Miles who also survives. Josh and Kacee would be celebrating 26 years together in just a few short days.

Josh was an avid rock collector and loved to show his collection to others. You could find him riding his motorcycle or spending time at a creek on any nice day. He enjoyed his Koi fish and doted over his dog, Jake. Josh thoroughly enjoyed working at Steve’s Frame and Body Work Inc. in Joplin, MO. Those who knew Josh will remember him for his witty sense of humor and his multitude of one liners.

Josh is survived by his wife and son, his sister, Angela Westfall Fuselier of Anderson, MO, step mother, Marilyn Cooper of Carthage, MO, two sisters-in-law, Carri Cooper Their (Chris) of Canton, GA, Cristi Cooper Trowbridge of Neosho, MO, brother-in-law, Ben Cooper (Tracy) of Granby, MO, step brother, David Rowe (Amy) of Carthage, MO, five nieces, Chelsea, Kaley, Peyton, Erin and Arrow, five nephews, Caleb, Cole, Grant, Gage and Silas, one great niece, Taryn, one great nephew, Jack, and numerous friends who all consider themselves lucky to have known Josh and been a part of his life.

Josh is preceded in death by his parents as well as his mother and father-in-law, Fred and Janice Cooper of Granby, MO.

A visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, MO on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5:30-7:00pm.

Special thanks and appreciation to Kay White and Davis and Misty Renick, best friends of Josh and Kacee.
