(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Janice Marie Lawson, 74, passed away peacefully from cancer on October 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Janice was born on October 18th, 1949, in Joplin, MO, to James and Naydean Eubanks. She was the fourth of eight children.
She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved to play bingo, enjoyed listening to Elvis, loved the Lord, and was a big prankster. She was just an overall loving, caring, heart-of-gold lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death are her husband David, her parents, and one sibling, Alice Clark.
She is survived by six siblings: Darrell Eubanks, Doug Eubanks, Kenny Eubanks, Linda Glover, Jama Lopez, and Carlolyn Cupp, her nine children: Tammy Lawson, Cheryl Dillard, David Lawson, Cathy Kellogg, Mellissa Mitchell, James Lawson, Kevin Lawson, Ryan Lawson, and Katrina Ball, 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and her life long best friend of 50+ years Sharon Pifer.
The family will be scheduling a memorial service for Janice at a later date.
