(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Theodore Mark Robertson, age 73, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 11:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at his home. He was born March 2, 1951, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of the late LeRoy and Rena (McClaran) Robertson.
Ted was a 1969 graduate of Everton High School in Everton, Missouri. He graduated from College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri and received his master’s and specialist degree in education from Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri. He was an administrator for public schools and a very active member of the Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church.
On December 28, 1973, he married Cynthia Hopkins, in Marionville, Missouri.
Ted is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Cynthia; one daughter, Amy Streicher and her husband, James, of Ozark, Missouri; one son, Mark Robertson and his wife, Jill, of Branson, Missouri; one sister, Joan Keck of Everton, Missouri; one brother, Don Robertson of Lawrenceburg, Missouri and six grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
