(From Clark Funeral Home)Doris Pauline Jones, 90, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Neosho.
Doris was born on October 31, 1935, to Everett Farmer and Lottie Doris (Perryman) Farmer. She graduated from high school before attending secretarial college.
On December 26, 1954, she married the love of her life, Everett Ray Jones, in Reno, Nevada. She traveled by train to California at 19 years old to marry him and together they shared more than 70 years of marriage until Everett's passing on November 17, 2025. She was a farm wife and a homemaker. She was an excellent cook, known for her potato salad, which none of her children could mimic.
Doris was creative and was gifted in watercolor painting, making pottery, and enjoyed reading a good book.
She is survived by her children, Eddie Jones and wife, Renee; Cathy Trewyn and husband, Tom; and Lisa Youngblood and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Steven Dawley and wife, Kate, Ryan Jones, Jessi Whitehead and husband, Andy, Jake Youngblood and wife, Nicole, Rusty Stramel and wife, Jessica, Emily Swinehart and husband, Larry, Robbie Harris, Audra George, and Harrison George and wife Lisa; along with sixteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Diamond Cemetery with Virgil Eubanks officiating. Doris's grandsons will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.
