(From White Funeral Home)Misty Dawn Hicks Hipkins, age 46, of Stella, Missouri, was born on June 23, 1980, in Monett, Missouri, to Lonnie and Eileen Hicks. She departed this life on June 26, 2026, at her home in Stella.
Misty was united in marriage to Robert "Ross" Hipkins, who survives. Together they shared a life filled with love and family. She is also survived by her three daughters, Hailey Hipkins of the home, Savanna Hipkins of Purdy, Missouri, and Kyla Hicks and Julie England of Joplin, Missouri.
Misty enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and searching for rocks and treasures. While rock picking, she was known for bringing home plenty of "leave-it-rights" that she simply refused to leave behind. She also had an incredible knack for finding four-leaf clovers and was always excited by her lucky discoveries. Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for life's simple treasures brought joy to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Eileen Hicks; two brothers, Keith Burwell and Jason Burwell; and one sister, Brittany Burwell.
Misty is survived by her siblings, Eddie Burwell of Exeter, Missouri; Sheila and Keith Young, affectionately known as "Nana and Pa," of Ridgley, Missouri; Dean and Misty Burwell of Joplin, Missouri; Wendy and Terry Testerman of Cassville, Missouri; Debbie Hicks of Cassville, Missouri; and Wendy Smith and James Tacker of Lebanon, Missouri.

She also leaves behind her beloved adopted grandbabies, Grayson, Waylon, Mason, and Makinley, affectionately known as "Mac and Cheese." They lovingly called her Mee Moo, Mee Mee, and Thistle Dawn, while one proud nephew simply knew her as "Master." Misty's heart was big enough to embrace everyone she met, and she was known by many as "Momma" to friends and extended family members she welcomed as her own.
Misty will be remembered for her generous heart, her unique sense of humor, her love of family, and her ability to make everyone feel accepted and loved. The memories she created and the lives she touched will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
