(From McQueen Funeral Home)Norman Ray Boles, 78, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
He was born April 18, 1948, in Wheaton, Missouri the son of Loren and Ferry (Dalton) Boles, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his stepson, Lucas McDowell and brother, Charles Boles.
Surviving are his sons, Brad Boles and wife Tami of Beaverdam, Virginia and Rodney Kurtz and wife Jodi of Gardner, Kansas; daughters, Jami Hovey and husband Paul of Birmingham, Alabama and Angela Lundberg and husband Kory of Bentonville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Norman attended school in Cassville, Missouri, where he graduated from Cassville High School. Following graduation, he completed a four-year apprenticeship with Royal Typewriter in Springfield, Missouri which led to his employment at FASCO Industries in Cassville, Missouri in the tool and die department. After leaving FASCO, Norman owned and operated his own tool and die business in Cassville.
Norman was a pro-outdoorsman, he fished professionally and enjoyed hunting. He was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Camdenton Laker football teams. During his younger years, he played baseball for the Montreal Expos organization.
Above all else, Norman was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family unconditionally. Norman will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He attended Hillcrest Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Michael Goering will conduct the service. A private burial will be held later at Fox Cemetery in Powell, Missouri.
