Garrett Pilcher

Garrett Roy Pilcher, age 37, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away at Mercy Hospital on June 18, 2026, after a short illness. He was born on March 26, 1989, in Phoenix, Arizona, and lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and a deep love for the people and places that mattered most to him.

Garrett was a man who embraced life with an adventurous spirit and a courageous heart. Those who knew him will remember his passionate nature and the steady presence he brought to his family and friends. He carried himself with quiet determination and a willingness to face each day with honesty and grit. His life was one of hard work, loyalty, and genuine care for others.








He attended high school in Mayer, Arizona, where he built the foundation of the character and resilience that would guide him throughout his life. Garrett later worked as a machine operator with Bagcraft in Baxter Springs, Kansas, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature until his health declined.

Garrett found his greatest joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He enjoyed being outdoors with family and friends, especially when grilling, fishing, and kayaking. These were the times when he was most at peace, surrounded by the people he loved and the natural world he appreciated so deeply. Whether sharing a meal, casting a line, or spending time on the water, Garrett made memories that will be cherished always.








He is survived by his wife, Sindy Pilcher of Joplin, Missouri; his daughters, Bree, Skylynn, and Kayla Pilcher; his father, Robert Pilcher; and his sisters, Jeanine Freedman and her husband Aaron, and Chandra Tallant, both of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marla Kesler. Garrett also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close.

Funeral services are pending at this time.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
