Charles Dean Hirshey, Sr., age 74, of Webb City, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at his home.
He was born on August 12, 1943 in Picher, Oklahoma to the late Eugene Hirshey and Virginia Gibson Hirshey.
After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he worked in the automotive body shop business as a technician for many years.
Charles married Kathrine Lorretta Swineford, on October 7, 1975 in Miami, OK., she survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, whom he recently celebrated forty-two years of marriage with, he is survived by two sons, Charles Dean Hirshey, Jr. and Jason Eugene Hirshey, both of Webb City; one daughter, Deana Ashbaugh, husband Eric, of Ottawa, KS; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Hirshey and a sister, Joyce Hirshey.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2:00p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
