Evelyn Leaona Zinn, 81 years, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born on November 12, 1936 in Macomb, Illinois to the late Harmon and Gladys (Newingham) Swink. She married Fred Zinn on January 18, 1954 at Clayton, New Mexico. Evelyn worked at Winston Industries mobile home manufacturer in Noel, Missouri and was the charge nurse for Beverly Enterprise Nursing Home in Anderson, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time outdoors in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Zinn; a son, Fred "Sam" Zinn; a daughter, LaRonda Willis; three brothers, Joe Lynn Murray, Jackie Lee Swink and Lawrence James Murray; two sisters, Vonda Swink and Loretta Murray.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Larry Zinn and wife Louetta of Anderson, Missouri; three brothers, Harmon Jefferson Swink, Jr. and wife, Pat of Linden, Texas; Sam Murray of Gravette, Arkansas, Gery Swink and wife, Peggy of Georgia; four sisters, LaVern Moore of Noel, Missouri, Anna Brown and husband, Jim of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, Vada Mae Murray of Decatur, Arkansas, Vivian Michelle McBee and husband, KJ of Edmond, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jeremy Zinn and wife, Keali of Fenton, Missouri, Jennifer Busby and wife, Carol of San Antonio, Texas, Thomas Busby of Hawaii, Austin Zinn and wife, Stephanie of Langan, Missouri, Kenneth Zinn and wife, Missy of Lanagan, Missouri, Cynthia Zinn of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; a great grandchild, Lillian N. Busby; along with a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss Evelyn.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Brother Tom Sumner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
