Billie Ellen Griffin, age 85, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home.
She was born August 19, 1932 in Crowley, Texas the daughter of T.W. and Lucy (Duncan) Creswell. On April 17, 1950 in Boise, Idaho she was united in marriage to Guy “Pete” Griffin, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Griffin and his wife Carol of Washburn, Missouri; three daughters, Karen Kennedy and her husband Randy of Jay, Oklahoma, Dorothy Wolgamott and her husband Miles of Neosho, Missouri and Shana Griffin of Neosho, Missouri; one brother, Royce Creswell and his wife Sylvia of Boise, Idaho;five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Mildred Scarbrough and Evelyn Bullard.
Billie received her education at Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was a homemaker. In 1960 she moved from Arkansas to Neosho to make her home. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ in Neosho.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Burial will be at McNatt Cemetery in McNatt, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
