Charles William Selsor, age 89, of Joplin, passed away on Friday September 22, 2017 at Webb City Health & Rehab Center, following an illness.
Charles was born on January 3, 1928 in Cassville, Mo., the son of the late Gerald and Alma (Woodroe) Selsor. He worked as a truck driver for Tri-State Motor Transit for many years. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He married Colleen Connor on October 3, 1945 in Columbus, Ks. She preceded him in death on May 31, 2008. He was also preceded in death by one daughter Cayla Robinson in 2011; two brothers, and three sisters.
Charles is survived by one son, Cary Selsor, Webb City, Mo.; one daughter, Marcy Hays, Webb City, Mo.; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Larry Cansler will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in care of the mortuary.Visitation will be open during regular visiting hours.
