Leota “Faye” Neff, 80, Neosho, passed away September 25, 2017 after a short illness. She was born May 26, 1937 in Granby, the daughter of Houston and Geneva (Allman) Cook. Faye was a lifelong resident of the area, and had been employed as a bookkeeper in the manufacturing and trucking industry. She was a member of the Silver Moon Full Gospel Church and loved singing, music, and reading.
Faye married Ned Neff on December 7, 1973 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2015. She is survived by her children, Diana McCleary (Charles) of Neosho, Vicky Kahl (Randy) of Brownsville, TX, Scott Lawson (Cathy) of Collinsville, OK, and Linda Patterson (Ralph) of Goodman. Additional survivors include two sisters, Chloe Suman of Joplin and Shari Cook of Granby, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 am at Clark Funeral Home in Granby. Interment will follow at the Granby Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 6pm until 7 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Granby.
