Norma Jeanne Jacobs, age 85, Joplin, passed away at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her home after an illness.
Norma was born May 21, 1932 in Joplin to the late Clarence Glenn Beezley, Sr. and Lois F. Markham Beezley.
She worked as a meat cutter and packer at various locations around Joplin for several years. Norma was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church and had also attended Carterville Christian Church. She enjoyed show horses and rodeos.
Norma married Don Jacobs on October 27, 1979 in Carterville. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa; one brother and her fur baby, Precious.
Survivors include her children, David Beezley, Joplin, Douglas Beezley, Branson, Deneise Beezley, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Mauriahh, Gina, Kim and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services are planned for Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Martin will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society, in care of Parker Mortuary.
