Earl R. Collins, 60, Joplin, MO, passed away Monday, September 24, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, MO. Earl Ray Collins was born July 10, 1957 in Chetopa, KS to the late Steve Stevenson and Dorothy Collins. He was a graduate of Chetopa High School, class of 1975. He was a Christian by faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Ashley Swank (Emily), Salina, KS, Valentina Valdez, Joplin, MO, and Kayla Fields (Robert), Carthage, MO; one son, Diylan Collins (Paulie), Joplin, MO; one brother, Howard Collins, Wichita, KS, and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family requests that donations be made towards the funeral expenses and can be sent to Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, MO 64836.
