Robin Martin Gordon, age 61, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Robin was born June 29, 1956 in California, son of the late Clyde Thomas Gordon and Thelma Isabele Ketron Gordon. He attended school in California, and moved to this area where he worked as a master carpenter for several contractors including Clarence Ketron, Don Goetz, and he also worked with his brothers where they owned Gordon Brothers Construction.
In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by a son, Keith Gordon; grandson, Max Gordon, and a granddaughter, Kelsey Dawn Williams; brothers, Wyatt and Michael, and a sister, Trudy Daniels.
Survivors include his children, April Lynn Gordon of Joplin, Cheyene Renee Gordon of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Christa Dawn Hylton and husband Daniel of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Zachery Armer, Alexis Kirby, Kattie Gordon, Elijiah Leyda, William Leyda, Hanna Leyda, Layla Gordon, Dalyn Gordon, and MacKenzie Hylton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Cunningham Park.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
